Reviving Cold Crickets

WE MAY LOOK DEAD, BUT WE (most likely) ARE NOT!!!

PLEASE TRUST US AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE YOUR CRICKETS FROM THE CARRIER:

·        Gently remove your cup or box of crickets from the outer packing.

·        Prepare a tote of decent size to empty your crickets from the shipping packaging into the container as gently as possible.

·        Spread your crickets out into a single layer inside a bin.

·        Allow the crickets FOUR hours at room temperature to revive.

·        Do not add heat, do not use a heat pad, or place the reviving crickets next to a heating vent, etc. Room temperature is best for a gradual awakening.

·        Place a few slices of potato or a damp sponge in the bin so they can hydrate when they come-to. No standing water, no food with possible pesticides.

Please be aware that live cricket shipments are just like any other live animal delivery. They cannot sit outside in the sun, rain, or cold weather and survive. Live Animals should always be received directly from the driver. If this is not possible at your current shipping address, please update your address in your account to a work address or for HOLD FOR PICK UP at your nearest UPS or FedEx location. YOU MUST VERIFY THEY WILL HOLD LIVE INSECTS.

IF your crickets did not revive, or if you think more than 20% are dead:

Our expectation is that any live animal that is shipped through a commercial carrier is received from the driver at the time of delivery. Our crickets are packed for the journey, not the front steps. They will not survive outside in the cold, in the rain, or sitting in the sun.

·       To be eligible for a refund or replacement, we need to hear from you WITHIN 24 HOURS of receiving your order. Email us at Orders@TwinCitiesCrickets.com, please include the name your order was placed with.

·        Please include pictures of the crickets. If the weather is cold, the cold weather protocol must be followed for a refund or replacement. Photos of crickets in the cup or box may not be eligible for a refund if they were not given the care needed to recover from transit.

DAMAGED SHIPMENT?

·        If you receive a damaged box that resulted in dead crickets or damaged merchandise: We require the following to offer a refund or replacement order within 24 hours of receiving the shipment:

·     CLEAR images of the damaged box that shows the shipping label AND the damage in the same photo.

·        A photograph of the damaged product in the box with packing materials to show how it was packed. If we do not receive the above required pictures within 24 hours of your shipment being delivered, we cannot submit for a refund with the carrier.

If we can't submit for a refund for the loss, we can't offer a refund to our customers.
