12 Egg Flats

Egg Flats are an excellent substrate for banded crickets.  Standing egg flats in a cricket cage provides excellent living conditions with great air flow for crickets to feel safe, thrive and grow in.  Egg flats can last for the entire lifecycle of purchased banded crickets.

Egg Flats measure approximately 12" x 12" x 1.75" with 30 compartmentalized spaces.  Crickets will utilize both sides of the Egg Flat.  Egg Flats can easily be cut to the size desired for an existing habitat. We provide 3 styles of our Egg Flats:

• Uncut - 12 Full Size Egg Flats measuring 12" x 12" x 1.75"
• Large Cricket Cage Cut - 12 Egg Flats, cut to fit our Large Cricket Cage, measuring 9" x 12" x 1.75"
• Small Cricket Cage Cut - 12 Egg Flats, cut to fit our Small Cricket Cage, measuring 4" x 9" x 1.75"

We bake our Egg Flats for 20 minutes at 240° F to eliminate any possibility of salmonella contamination or other harmful pathogens.
