The Large Cricket Cage is a 54 quart, 22.5" Long x 16" Wide x 12.75" High, Gasket Lined Plastic Storage Tote that has been modified to be an effective habitat for the storage of banded crickets through the majority of their lifecycle.
The Large Cricket Cage has been modified to provide the necessary ventilation and security for banded crickets. 6 - 2" air vents have been installed with added appropriate screening. The tops of the tote's walls have been lined with 2" of tape that the crickets will be unable to cling to. A foam gasket liner runs the periphery of the lid to create an effective seal between the tote and corresponding lid.
The Cricket Cage can house 1,000 5/8" to full size adult crickets or 2,000 3/8' to 1/2" crickets or up to 4,000 1/8" to 1/4" crickets. If the Large Cricket Cage is used for maintaining crickets smaller than 3/8" in length, it is recommended that the air vents be covered with a breathable tape to prevent escapes.
